Job Application Data	You may choose to submit a job application to WowThanks via the Website which will contain your Personal Data, such as your name, contact details, resume/CV, cover letter, LinkedIn profile and details about visa sponsorship. When you submit a job application, WowThanks will process your Personal Data in accordance with the WowThanks Recruitment Data Protection Notice which will be made available to you.

4. HOW & WHY DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Legitimate Interests	It is necessary to collect and process your Personal Data for the purpose of pursuing our legitimate business interests. The specific purposes of our pursuing our legitimate business interests are detailed below. Queries or Requests: We will process your Personal Data to assess and respond to your Website interactions with us. For example, when you: e-mail a query or request to support@wowthanks.com; use our Website chatbot; register your interest in attending one of our webinars; request to talk to our sales team; and/or request a demo of our services. Marketing: We will process your Personal Data for marketing purposes: when you choose to receive our marketing communications (e.g. our monthly newsletter) or when you subscribe to our mailing lists; and/or when you express an interest in receiving any of our reports. Events: We will process your Personal Data to invite you to events and where we ask for your feedback after an event. Job Applications: We will process your Personal Data when you submit a job application to respond to your application and carry out an initial assessment of your job application. Please note, your Personal Data will be processed in line with the WowThanks Recruitment Data Protection Notice which will be made available to you. Website Improvements & Functionality: We will process your Personal Data: to provide you with use of the Website and allow you to optimally browse the Website; to improve, test and monitor the effectiveness of the Website; to monitor metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic data and demographic patterns; and to ensure the content on the Website is presented in the most effective manner for you and your device. Important: when we process your Personal Data based on our legitimate interests, we make sure to consider and balance any potential impact on you and your Personal Data protection rights. We will not use your Personal Data for activities where our interests are overridden by the impact on you (unless we have your consent or are otherwise required or permitted by law). Business units within WowThanks (e.g. sales, marketing, legal, system administration and/or management);

External service providers who provide services to the Website or our business (e.g. Monday.com, Hubspot, Intercom, Salesforce, Inc. Google, Inc. Google Analytics and/or
Professional advisors who provide professional services to us such as legal advisors and consultants.

The Website contains links to other websites and resources (“Linked Website(s)”) provided by third parties for your information and convenience only. WowThanks is not responsible for the privacy/data protection notices or practices of any Linked Website and does not accept liability in connection with any Linked Website. This Notice only governs the Personal Data collected by WowThanks on the Website and not Linked Websites. When accessing Linked Websites, you should read the privacy/data protection notice published on the relevant Linked Website. We have no control over the contents of Linked Websites and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of Linked Websites.

7. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Generally, your Personal Data will not be retained for long periods of time and, in most instances, it will be kept in line with the retention periods set out below:

8. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS

You have a number of rights in relation to your Personal Data, which are set out below. In particular, these rights include the right to object to processing of your Personal Data where that processing is carried out for our legitimate interests. Note that these rights are not absolute. You can exercise these rights by e-mailing datarequests@wowthanks.com. We will aim to respond to your request within one-month of receiving it. We may have to extend the timeline of our response by 2 further months if necessary but we will contact you if this need arises. Please also note that we may need to verify your identity when you exercise your data protection rights.
